Jolene Anderson

Although she enjoyed a
successful corporate career financing and selling hotels and international real estate for 15 years, Jolene Anderson has been passionately interested in spiritual knowledge, wellness, and holistic healing all of her life. Her maternal grandmother, who lived to be 94 years of age, passed on to her a wealth of information and wisdom about the power of nutrition and natural healing to strengthen and extend human life.
After deciding to leave the corporate world and pursue her true passion, Jolene embarked on an extensive journey of discovery, exploring and studying a wide range of alternative philosophies and disciplines. In pursuit of of her goal to create a truly revolutionary wellness program for corporate professionals who are seeking a way to achieve new balance in their lives, she participated in lectures and seminars in the integrated health field and researched similar programs around the world.
Jolene and the Inner Oasis Spas team have created a unique stage
through seminars, retreats and the media for speakers, practitioners, and
authors in health, spirituality and science to deliver a message of
individual, community and global healing.

Biography
GLORIOUS LIGHT
Luz de Dios (which translates to Glorious Light in English), was born in the Andes
mountains outside of Bogota, Colombia in 1940. Nurtured and inspired by the lush
green mountains, the clear night skies, the climate and her rural surroundings, Light
began painting at age three. From her earliest work it was evident that she was an
exceptionally gifted visionary artist. Her work received great acclaim for one so
young. A continual flow of visitors made the difficult journey from Bogota to view
her paintings and watercolors. A number of her works were bought by some of
Bogota’s more prominent families.
At age eight, her mother left their native land and brought Light to live in New
York City.
Traumatized by suddenly finding herself alone in an alien culture, with a
language she could not speak or understand, suffering from the cold winters, cut off
from nature in a harsh convent school, she could not bring herself to pick up her
paints and brushes. This hiatus lasted for thirty three years. In the interim, she went
on to become fluent in three languages, graduate from college with honors, pick up
a Masters Degree, be a wife and mother, and maintain successful careers in
education and business.
In 1978, Light embarked on a spiritual odyssey that profoundly changed her life.While living in a remote stretch of the Northern California coast in 1981, she was
so moved by the rugged beauty of the land and sea, that she began painting again.
But it was in Hawaii, on the island of Maui the following year, ringed by lush green
mountains reminiscent of Light’s native land, and surrounded by the vast ocean and
sky, that her artistic gifts burst into full bloom. Glorious Light is a revered spiritual
teacher, writer and poet as well as an artist. Her work can be found primarily in
private collections in the United Kingdom, Santa Fe, Thailand, Singapore and
Colombia.

VISIONS OF THE UNIVERSE
An alternative pictorial representation of the composition of matter and light, two
of the essential components in the creation of what we call “Reality”. The work
allows for a shift in awareness in how one sees the physical universe, in much the
same way, for example the Impressionists opened the door to the perception of
the physical world beyond the sharply defined borders that was formerly depicted
by the “realists” down through the centuries. In looking at the macrocosm from
this new perspective, the viewer is able to come away with a sense of a greater
relationship to the universe, and a heightened awareness of one’s self.
